Get Hooked on Family Fun at the Kids Fishing Fun Fest!
Looking for a brilliant way to spend the day outdoors with the family this May Half Term? We’ve got just the thing! Join us on May 24th from 11 am to 5 pm at Lincoln Lane Lakes in Middle Rasen for our Kids Fishing Fun Day, all in support of the mental health charity Mind.
This action-packed day is perfect for families with children aged 0 to 16, with a fantastic mix of fishing, inflatables, crafts, and more! Whether you’ve got a budding angler or a mini adventurer, there’s something here for everyone.
Try Your Hand at Fishing!
Whether your little one is a first-time caster or a mini fishing enthusiast, our “Have a Go Fishing” sessions are the perfect way to experience the joys of angling in a relaxed, supportive setting. Adults are also welcome to try their hand at landing a catch, whether you’re a first-timer or looking to get back into the sport.
Each session has its own time slot, with a maximum of 6 anglers, so everyone can enjoy some focused guidance and space to fish:
- 🐟 Session 1 – 11 am
- 🐠 Session 2 – 12 pm
- 🎣 Session 3 – 1 pm
- 🐡 Session 4 – 2 pm
- 🎉 3 pm onwards – open practice for all!
Sessions are just £5 per person, and we’ll provide fishing kits and everything you need – no gear or prior experience necessary. Friendly helpers will be on hand to offer tips, encouragement, and a few fun facts about the fish in our lake.
It’s a brilliant way to introduce kids to the joys of nature and a lifelong hobby, all while making new memories by the water. Come along, cast a line, and see who gets the first bite!

Bring a Picnic or Grab a Bite
With refreshments available on site and the option to bring your own picnic, why not make a full day of it by the water? Plus, we have an ice cream van courtesy of Party Delights, serving the best sweet treats around!

Best of all, this event helps raise money for Mind, so every splash, bounce, and cast goes towards supporting mental health in our community.
