Lincoln Lane Lakes is proud to support the Take a Friend Fishing incentive, helping more people discover the joy of fishing in a friendly, relaxed setting.
This is a lovely chance for regular anglers to bring along a friend, family member or complete beginner and introduce them to time by the water. Whether they’ve never held a rod before, haven’t fished for years, or just fancy giving it a go, this day is all about keeping things simple, welcoming and enjoyable.
What’s included?
Your £15 pair ticket includes:
- Fishing for one regular angler and one friend
- Access to Lincoln Lane Lakes for the event
- Beginner-friendly support and advice on the day
- Entry into our prize draw
- A £2 off return voucher to use before November 2026

About the Take a Friend Fishing licence
If your friend does not already have a fishing licence, they may be able to get a free Take a Friend Fishing one-day licence.
Please make sure this is arranged before the event if needed.
The licensed angler and unlicensed angler must both be named on the licence and must fish together on the date shown. Please bring the licence with you on the day, as it may need to be checked.
All details must be correct. If anything is wrong, please register again before attending, as licences cannot be changed once issued.
Your Lincoln Lane Lakes event ticket covers your fishing at our lake, but it does not replace any rod licence requirements.
Who is this event for?
This event is ideal for:

- People who used to fish and would like to ease back in
You don’t need to be an expert. The aim is simply to enjoy the lake, learn a little, and spend time together.

Please follow all Lincoln Lane Lakes rules while fishing. These help us look after the fish, the water and everyone using the lake.
Places are subject to peg availability, so booking ahead is recommended.
This event supports the national Take a Friend Fishing incentive.
If your friend needs a free one-day Take a Friend Fishing licence, please make sure it is registered before the event.

The same licensed angler can take the same unlicensed angler fishing through Take a Friend Fishing up to three times per year. A new one-day licence is needed each time.
