Get Hooked on Fishing – Fishing Lessons at Lincoln Lane Lakes
We’re thrilled to launch our brand-new Fishing Lessons at Lincoln Lane Lakes – the perfect opportunity for ages 13+ (yes, that includes adults!) to build confidence on the bank and take their angling to the next level.
Whether you’re casting a line for the first time or want to develop your skills with hands-on tuition, this full-day experience covers all the essentials – with expert guidance, a friendly atmosphere, and plenty of time on the water.

Note: If over 13, you’ll need your course fishing rod licence from the EA. It’s free for under 16s.

11:00 – Welcome & Safety Briefing
Sign in, meet the team, and learn about lake rules and emergency plans.
11:15 – Getting Set Up
Learn how to:
Use rods, reels and lines
Set up float and feeder rigs
Choose the right bait
Target popular UK species like carp, roach, rudd, tench and bream
12:15 – Break (Bring your own snacks)
12:30 – Skills & Safety
Hands-on practice in:
Fish care and safe handling
Tying rigs (method taught may vary)
Underarm and overhead casting
Spotting bites and striking correctly
13:30 – Lunch Break
14:00 – Tactics & Final Prep
Understand:
Fish feeding habits
Where and when to fish
Playing and landing fish safely
